What
"Trust Through Traceability: Software Supply Chain Evidence for the BIS Connected Vehicles Rule”

Description

The BIS Connected Vehicles Rule requires automotive organizations to understand not only what technology is deployed in a vehicle, but also who designed, developed, manufactured, or supplied it. This session presents a practical approach to connecting software provenance, supplier identity, corporate ownership, and vehicle-program data throughout the software lifecycle. Attendees will learn how OEMs, suppliers, and verification partners can use technical and corporate evidence to validate supplier claims, identify gaps before release, and create a reproducible compliance decision record, while keeping final accountability with the regulated OEM or importer.
