Autonomous vehicles were once science fiction. Today, they are on America’s roads and deploying as robotaxis, trucks, zero occupancy delivery vehicles, and shuttles. The AV industry continues to make great strides and vehicles will continue to be deployed deliberately in communities across the country. However many policy challenges lay ahead at the federal and state levels if the United States is to continue to be the global leader in AVs and realize the supply chain, safety, and accessibility benefits of the technology.

Jeff Farrah – the CEO of the Autonomous Vehicle Industry Association – will present information on where the industry stands and how policymakers can support the progress of AVs.
