This presentation communicates the intent and illustrative applications of the SAE standard JA7496 Cyber Physical Systems Security Engineering Plan. The is the first of four videos to illustrate how the standard can be applied to a notional electric vehicle charging system scenario. The intended audience for the standard are engineers and technical experts designing and securing cyber-physical systems. It is intended to reach a broad audience, provide awareness and understanding of the principles for designing and securing cyber-physical systems and applying the 7496 standards throughout CPS security activities.
